Weenees Eco Disposable Pads are super absorbent, flushable and compostable. Available in two sizes Small (200ml) and Medium (400ml), pads can be combined for extra absorbency if required. Perfect for use in Eenee Designs Baby Pouch Pants or they can be combined with other reusable nappies as booster pads. Use one small pad in Small size pants and one medium pad in Medium or Large size pants. Combine two small (400ml) or one small plus one medium pad (600ml) or use two medium for (800ml) capacity where needed. Australian Designed and Made using non chlorine bleached farmed tree pulp, super absorber polymer and a unique stay dry (regenerated natural cellulose) coverstock. No plastic layer, no perfumes, no latex. Fully compostable in one compost cycle and hygienically flushable. To flush your Weenee's Eco pads simply take to the toilet - tear open the outer covering of the pad and dump the inner pulp into the toilet - drop in the outer and, well, flush! (Tearing open the pad and dumping the contents greatly reduces the chance that a sensitive plumbing system will block and makes the process of degrading easier. Be careful if you have tree infested plumbing - this may create a problem. In that case composting may be the way to go for you.) When composting your Weenee's Eco Pads, only compost the wet ones. Poopy pads put bacterial waste into your land which can be highly toxic. Soiled pads should be flushed only. Independent research shows that the pads will break down in 50 - 150 days depending on the compost conditions. (ie the amount of moisture in particular affects the composting time). Please Note: Small pads can be used in the small pants or as a booster in the medium pants with either a microfibre nappy or a medium pad. Medium Pads are ONLY for use in the medium pants as they are too large for the pouches of the small pants. Note from Dad: These pads make changing nappies as easy as changing a disposable. Best of all, in my opinion, the absorbency and dryness for wee is easily on par with any big brand disposable nappy. The pads just suck up any moisture and keep a dry surface next to the baby. Once you've tried these, you'll never want to go back to anything else. In fact, I would say that these are actually easier than disposables when you consider the time it takes to scrape the waste off those nappies into the toilet and then wrap it up to put in the bin. By this time, you've torn up the eco pad, flushed it, fixed the baby up and handed her back to mum for another feed.
